The Good News Broadcasting Association of Canada (GNBAC) is the organizational umbrella of Back to the Bible Canada, Laugh Again and indoubt ministries. GNBAC is dedicated to leading people into a growing, dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ through excellent, innovative, multimedia Bible Teaching and Engagement.
To further this mission, we are endeavoring to welcome a new full-time member to our Executive team in the position of Director of Marketing and Communications. This position requires excellent leadership, innovative marketing and communications skills for the purposes of growing the impact of a multimedia national Bible teaching and engagement ministry.
The Executive team member will be responsible for the direction of all areas related to marketing and communications including the coordination and implementation of related ministry strategies. The Director will be an active and innovative participant in creating, facilitating, editing and providing quality control for all marketing content, its production and distribution. Excellent verbal communication and strategic skills along with the ability to multitask in a high output environment, while supervising and supporting a creative and growing team is essential.
The successful applicant will be self-driven and be able to work effectively in both a remote and onsite environment.
It is critical that the applicant has an understanding and acceptance of the mission, vision and Statement of Faith of Back to the Bible Canada, that they be accepting of a diverse group of people, and open to engaging and implementing new strategies for ministry effectiveness. The applicant will be an important team member in a growing and innovative organization and will understand the necessity of contributing to and maintaining excellence in a highly valued organizational culture.
The successful applicant will be a member of the executive team and work under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer.
Participate with the Executive team in all organizational strategic planning in general and specifically to the areas of Marketing and Communications.
Oversight of all activities, projects, initiatives involving Marketing and Communications.
Create Marketing strategies to promote organizational resources across multiple mediums
Communication/Marketing content development and production
Create, facilitate and maintain Marketing and Communications budget plans
Create, coordinate and Implement strategies and action plans in concert with the Creative Team.
Ensure that all areas of marketing and communications projects follow best industry standards and practices, are completed on time and effectively utilize all organizational resources.
Oversee Creative Team members
Coordinate Weekly Creative Ministries meetings
Coordinate and Document Bi-weekly Marketing and Communication Meetings
Participate in Monthly Executive meetings
Oversee, track and drive all Marketing and Communication related projects
